Toyota A90 Supra - Gear Lever Holder (RHD)

Enhance your on-track experience with our Gear Lever Holder. Engineered to prevent your gear lever from popping out of Manual into Drive during intense driving, our holder ensures you maintain control over your gears, avoiding mis-shifts and loss of acceleration that can cost you precious lap times. 

The design allows the gear lever to self-centre when parking, as well as two posts to allow you to customize the tension for your elastic O-ring choice and driving requirements.

Exclusively available for right-hand drive automatic vehicles, our product comes in two options:

• Digital download of a 3D model for DIY 3D printing
• Physical product 3D-printed in durable black PETG, including a suitable O-ring and pre-applied double-sided tape for easy attachment

Installation

1. Digital download only: Print with a strong plastic like PETG. After printing, apply high-strength double-sided tape to the underside, and source an O-ring with the following approximate characteristics:
   1. 40mm outer diameter
   2. 2.5mm thickness
   3. Lengthens 1cm under 1kg tension
2. Clean the trim between the iDrive controller and the gear lever surround.
3. Peel off the adhesive backing and secure the holder to the trim.
4. Stretch the O-ring over the gear lever until it rests loosely around the base.

Usage

Simply stretch the O-ring over to a knob on the holder; the supplied O-ring works well on the lower knob. If the gear lever keeps popping back into Drive, try the other knob, both knobs, or perhaps even wrap it around one knob before attaching to the other.

While the O-ring can permanently reside around the base of the gear lever, it is not recommended to leave the band attached to the holder for longer than necessary. Loss of adhesion may result.
