Porsche 718 LWB seat riser brackets (Design only)

Overview

These brackets can be fitted to Porsche 718 models equipped with LWB light-weight bucket seats to add approximately 6 degrees of additional recline. This dramatically improves ergonomics, especially when wearing a helmet.

This design was developed to address the limitations and shortcomings of a popular existing market option. It offers not only superior strength, stiffness, and lightness, but also preservation of the factory seat leg spacing which eliminates undue stresses and greatly simplifies installation.

Construction

This bracket has been designed to be easily machinable out of aluminium alloy 6061 or stronger. The design is for the right-hand side bracket and needs to be mirrored for the left-hand side.

The supplied STEP files both feature a 6mm hole that is intended to locate a full thread M6 hole. Please consider the order of operations if tapping and mirroring computationally.
